Able Audio Technology Company Limited's R&D team and engineers bring over thirty years of experience in audio system design, product development and engineering applications, with an enduring focus on how drive units and cabinet structures shape sound quality. Knowing that traditional dynamic and electrostatic technologies each have their strengths and limitations, we have devoted ourselves to exploring electrostatic loudspeaker designs that are more efficient and better suited to the home.

Inspired by the fast transients, fine resolution and low distortion of electrostatic technology, our team has spent years pushing past its limits in output efficiency, size and practicality. In 2024, we achieved key breakthroughs in materials, structure and manufacturing processes, filed patents for our core innovations, and successfully developed a compact electrostatic unit with markedly higher output efficiency — extending clear, refined sound reproduction across the mid, high and ultra-high frequencies.

Electrostatic Diaphragm

A newly engineered diaphragm featuring a dual-metal coating on an ultra-thin film.

It optimises electron distribution and charge retention, significantly enhancing electrostatic driving efficiency. Improved acoustic energy conversion delivers more responsive, direct sound reproduction — with unprecedented detail and transparency.

Our patented acoustic structure precisely directs sound waves, enhancing focus while suppressing the energy dispersion and echo caused by environmental reflections — for crystal-clear imaging with distinct front-to-back and side-to-side layering.

Stator Insulation Technology

Electrical arcing can occur when the potential difference between the diaphragm and the stator exceeds the dielectric withstand limit, causing breakdown of the air gap and an instantaneous release of energy.

Conventional designs often mitigate this risk by increasing the thickness of the insulating layer or widening the diaphragm-to-stator spacing. However, both approaches can reduce electric-field strength and compromise drive efficiency.

By combining a dual-metal-coated diaphragm with our patented insulation technology, we are able to form a thinner, more uniform, and more stable dielectric layer. This reduces the risk of electrical breakdown while allowing a narrower diaphragm-to-stator gap, resulting in a stronger and more uniform driving field, improved drive efficiency, and more precise diaphragm control.

Composite Side Panel Design

Patented side panels combine multiple materials in a composite, hot-pressed under high temperature and pressure for exceptional structural rigidity and stability.

Each panel houses multiple sets of through-channels of varying diameters, precisely arranged to absorb and disperse the low-frequency vibrations generated by the cabinet.

By suppressing standing waves and parasitic resonances, the composite panels markedly improve the cabinet's damping and noise reduction — for deeper, more precisely controlled bass extension and a cleaner, purer overall sound.
