Sound Distortion Issues in Conventional Loudspeakers

Traditional dynamic drivers involve a voice coil and diaphragm with significant mass. Their movement introduces inertial lag and mechanical resistance, which compromises transient response and limits the ability to reproduce fine musical detail and microdynamics. Furthermore, the cone material itself can impart unwanted coloration, making the sound less transparent and natural.

Conventional speaker enclosures easily produce resonance, standing waves, and acoustic reflections, resulting in boxy echoes ("box sound") that degrade clarity and detail. The listening experience becomes muddy and lacks purity.

Electrostatic speaker

Electrostatic speakers use an ultra-thin, conductive diaphragm suspended between high-voltage stators. Driven by an electric field, it moves with extreme precision, delivering ultra-low distortion, fast transient response, and exceptional clarity across a wide frequency range.
